6 db High Performance VHF fiberglass antenna 2,4 m (8’) length – QuickFit
QuickFit is the brand-new line of ready-to-install marine antennas by Scout, that do not require the installation of RF connectors, easy to remove and totally waterproof thanks to the Scout original foam injection technology.
QuickFit antennas are built with FME type termination, supplied with coax cables with pre-installed connectors, do not require any specific equipment or tools to make the installation on the boat, either on deck, rail or mast. Installation can be carried out easily as no technical skills are required.
The QUICK 6 Black Edition is a powerful 2.40 m (8’) collinear-phased VHF antenna with 6 dB gain, specifically designed for long range communication. Built with solid brass and copper elements and extra heavy-duty fiberglass 1,5 mm thick. Fully foam injected, black colored with high gloss finishing.
Releasing the lock nut makes the antenna easily removable from its mount, which is particularly useful during winter storage or during transport of the vessel. Standard ferrule 1″x 14 threads to fit on every type of mount (PA-30 and PA-31 are suggested).
